How to produce galvanized steel coils and color coated steel coils?

Step 1

Steel-making

Mixed with limestone and coke and fed into a blast furnace to produce molten iron. The molten iron is refined into steel in a steelmaking vessel, and the resulting steel is cast into billets.

Step 1

Step 2

Hot rolling

First, steel billets are heated to a high temperature in a furnace. The heated billets are then passed through a series of rolling mills, where they are gradually compressed into thinner and longer pieces, forming hot rolled coils. The coils are then cooled and cut into individual sheets or plates.

Step 3

Cold rolling

Cold rolled steel plates are produced by passing hot rolled steel coils through a series of rollers at room temperature to reduce their thickness and improve their surface quality.

Step 3

Step 4

Hot dip galvanized

HDG is Immersing cold-rolled steel plates in molten zinc, forming a coating on the surface that provides excellent corrosion resistance.

Step 5

Pre-painted

Color coated steel is produce by coating galvanized steel with paint. The method of coating is roller coating, usually 2 or 3 layers of paint on the front and one layer of paint on the back.
